The COVID-19 Situation in Moldova

Moldova reports 295 new cases of coronavirus, two of the cases are in the breakaway Transnistria region. From the 295 new cases, two are imported (Russia).
The number of people infected with the new type of coronavirus reached 17,445. At the same time, 10,093 people recovered, while the number of COVID-19 deaths reached 572.
Today, the authorities performed 1,825 tests, from which 505 are repeated tests.
Of the total number of cases on this day, seven are medical workers: doctors – two, nurses – three, janitors – one auxiliary staff – one.
