Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova, Maia Sandu, announced that she will make two official visits in the next period. On July 11, the prime minister will leave for Kyiv, and on July 16 she will be in Berlin.

“I thank President Volodimir Zelenski for his invitation and willingness to have such a meeting so quickly. Ukraine and Moldova have similar political experiences in the region, especially in the fight against corruption and the building of democratic and functional states based on the needs and aspirations of citizens and have the same goal of European integration. That is why close cooperation between our countries will have beneficial effects both on security in the region and on the lives of citizens in both countries, ” wrote Maia Sandu with reference to her official visit to the Ukrainian capital.

The visit to Germany on July 16 is organized at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to Maia Sandu:

“I am very grateful to German Chancellor Angela Merkel for the invitation to make a visit to Berlin in the first weeks of the mandate, but more for the constant support given by Germany to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Germany has always been a reliable ally of the Republic of Moldova in promoting and consolidating democracy in our country and in supporting the strategic objectives of the Republic of Moldova. “

The first official visits as Prime Minister Maia Sandu since her inauguration were in Bucharest and Brussels.
