    About those betraying power once

The last few days offer us a unique show of hypocrisy, pretense and political betrayal. A whole range of human beings, advanced in their positions since 2009, are trying to recover from a state of hyper ventillation from the day PDM gave up power. After that, they dealt with the organization of the “protection” of the state institutions from the “illegitimate” power that had been installed on June 7, buying poor people from the villages and forcing them to sleep on the hot cement in front of the Prosecutor General’s office or of the Government Building.  In the last few days, they began to recover from the shock and started doing anything to preserve their functions and power. The new government, as “illegitimate,” as it was considered by them on June 7, becomes a heavenly gift without which they do not see their future.

The departure of Vlad Plahotniuc from Moldova, his statements about the resignation from PDM presidency, unleashed the fantasies of the glutonous officials. They do not want to lose any moment, probably understanding that time does not stand still. Thus, in a single moment, they change their visions, attitudes, ideas, political plans … All, with only one goal – not to stand by the benefits of the functions they have had for at least 10 years.

Yesterday, for example, the society witnessed a delicious representation, with Adriana Betisor and others in leading roles. After the convicted Ilan Shor, the man with files in court for involvement in the theft of the billion, was allowed to leave Moldova, with his family and money, the interim head of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, Adriana Betişor, announced in front of press that prosecutors have decided to seize the suspect’s property. It is true, the prosecutor did not know how much the seized goods could be valued … The novelty was followed by another, just as funny. The same prosecutor, in a discussion with the press, firmly said that following an anti-corruption action by the magistrates of the Cahul Court of Appeals, an arrest warrant and the announcement in international search on the name of Ilan Shor would issued. How simple it is to announce a corrupted person in international search, after you let him go anywhere in the world. Besides, it is not just about this recent escape of Ilan Şor. Whoever knows that, even if he was condemned, Shor was free to travel whenever he wished. It is true, up to Cahul, where, at the Court of Appeal, one of his files is pending, the road was always long, difficult, impossible …

But let us return to the traitors of Plahotniuc, to those who, at any price, are now in office, even if, until recently, they were saying out loud that they hate this new power. When I am writing these lines, the magistrates of the Constitutional Court (CC), whose resignation is required for several days, finally decided to leave. If the demand on their resignation would not came insistently from the outside, all CC judges would remain in office, expecting, as they are habitual, indications from the top, although they claim to be independent and apolitical.

The general prosecutor says unequivocally as well, that he will not leave the office where he was installed by the Plahotniuc regime, motivating that he receives many supportive messages. If he does not leave the office offered to him by Plahotniuc, he means that he accepts to work under the conditions of the current power, thus betraying Plahotniuc. In other words, how would Harunjen do it if he had to work on any open files on behalf of the ex-coordinator of Moldova?

I have no idea if Plahotniuc wants to know his traitors today. More importantly it is that the new government does not accept them under no conditions. It is well known that those who betrayed once, never dissociate from this habit.
