Eight Moldovan young women were allegedly sexually exploited in Paris last year by three Moldovans, aged between 32 and 45. They earned daily from 800 to 1,400 euros for each victim.

The suspects obtained a profit between 17,000 and 23,000 euros from each sexually exploited victim, mentions the National Investigation Inspectorate. The criminals identified young women of 20 and 25 years old through social media and offered them very high payments to provide sexual services. The suspects, one of them living in Paris, set up a paid sex network in the French capital.

The young women from Moldova practiced prostitution in various apartments in Paris, rented by suspects. According to the National Investigation Inspectorate, the girls were told that they would receive half of the amount obtained for providing sexual services. The criminals recommended their victims to hand over the income to them, ensuring that at the first request the money obtained will be given back. Under various pretexts, the victims received nothing.

The suspect, who is recruiting young women on the Moldovan territory, was arrested for 30 days, and another suspect is being investigated at large. The punishment for such crimes is from 7 to 15 years in prison.
