Mihail Saakashvili comments on the political crisis in Chisinau: “The place of the oligarch is in jail”

Former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili came with a message about the latest events in Chisinau. He praised the step taken by PSRM and the representatives of the ACUM Bloc to create a parliamentary majority and invest a new government and said the Democratic Party is illegally occupying government buildings and trying to usurp power in the state.

“I can not remain quiet on the situation in your country. This is a historic moment when the opposition has joined forces, forming a government, liberating the country from oligarchs. Both Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova have been captured entirely by oligarchs. You are doing a great job.

Now, the oligarch Plahotniuc’s party is illegally occupying government buildings and trying to usurp power. This is an attempted coup d’état by the judiciary that he monopolizes and corrupts. I believe that a result must be the mobilization of the people, who must regain their power, regain their wealth and country. People have to make the oligarch pay for everything. The place of the oligarch is in jail. So, I wish you success in restoring order and the rule of law.

My heart is entirely with you. I wish for you to win, from the heart.  I know Maia Sandu well, but also other representatives of the new power. They are very worthy people and I’m sure they will win together with the people. Good luck! “, concluded the former president of Georgia.
