    Ukraine has begun construction of a highway linking Kyiv to Chișinău and a cross-border bridge over the Dniester River states the Office of the President of Ukraine. According to the source, the convincing victory of the pro-European democratic forces in the snap elections creates conditions for the intensification of bilateral relations in all areas.

    The President of Ukraine and the President of Moldova noted the need to intensify economic cooperation between countries and implement concrete projects.

    Volodymyr Zelensky expressed confidence that Ukraine and Moldova will coordinate their actions on the path to European integration even more effectively, especially in the context of the activities of the Associated Trio with the participation of Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia.

    According to the source, the President of Ukraine stated that the convincing victory of the pro-European democratic forces in the elections in Moldova creates conditions for the intensification of bilateral relations in all areas.

    The State Road Administration previously announced that the bridge over the Dniester River, located between Cosăuți in Soroca district and Yampil, Ukraine will be about 362 meters long and will be built with Ukrainian financial means. The construction of the access road, with a length of about five km, which will connect the bridge over the Dniester with the national road R14.1 R14 – Cosăuți – border with Ukraine, will be executed from the sources of Moldova.

    According to the authorities, the construction of the bridge will considerably reduce the travel time from Chișinău to Kyiv and will ensure a transit corridor from Moldova to the European Union.
