Germany and WHO Makes a New Donation of Medical Equipment to Moldova
Moldova received another donation of medical equipment from the Federal Republic of Germany and the World Organization of Health, the Ministry of Health announces. A number of 100,000 goggles, 300,000 robes, and 100,000 surgical masks were delivered to Moldova.
Health authorities claim that personal protective equipment will replenish the stocks of all medical institutions in the country, including the Transnistrian region. Goggles, gowns and medical gloves are essential for the personal medical protection of COVID-19 infection in the process of diagnosing and treating people tested positive for the new type of coronavirus.
According to the health authorities, on June 15, 2021, 255,830 cases of COVID-19 and 538,879 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were registered in Moldova.
