The €10 million grant, part of the second tranche of the European Union’s Macro-Financial Assistance Program for Moldova, reached the Ministry of Finance.

On August 4, the €10 million grant, part of the second tranche of the European Union’s Macro-Financial Assistance Program for Moldova, entered the accounts of the Ministry of Finance.

“The disbursement of the funds related to the second tranche of the Macro-Financial Assistance Program was possible due to the fact that Moldova has fully implemented the actions provided in the Memorandum of Understanding on Macro-Financial Assistance.

These include important measures in the areas of financial sector governance, the public sector, the fight against corruption and money laundering, energy and the business climate, and the implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area,” the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.
