COVID-19 Situation in Moldova

Moldova reports 227 new cases of coronavirus, 15 cases are in the breakaway Transnistria region. From the 227 new cases, one case is imported from Turkey, announced the Ministry of Health.
The number of people infected with the new type of coronavirus reached 17,672. At the same time, 10,396 people recovered, while the number of COVID-19 deaths reached 580.
Today, the authorities performed 1,832 tests, from which 506 are repeated tests.
Of the total number of cases on this day, 12 are medical workers: doctors – two, nurses – 10.
