The Embassy of Germany in Chișinău offered humanitarian aid worth about 52,000 euros (1 million lei), to medical institutions in Moldova on May 6.
According to Germany’s Ambassador to Moldova, Angela Ganniger, the protective suits were produced in Moldova, so the Moldovan economy benefited from the money.
The Minister of Health, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, stated that they have the approval of the National Agency for Public Health, which means that they will ensure a high level of protection for medical workers who fight against the COVID-19 virus.
