    The subject of alleged illegal actions of former Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo was postponed to the next SCP meeting

    The members of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP) met in a meeting. There were 10 items on the agenda.

    Among the topics are the Appeal against the decision of the College for the evaluation of prosecutors’ performance, the Appeal against the alleged illegal actions of the former acting Prosecutor General Dumitru Robu, the Appeal against the alleged illegal actions of the suspended Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo, the Appeal against the decision of the College for discipline and ethics, etc.

    UPDATE 10.40: It has been decided to postpone the hearing on the alleged illegal actions of the suspended Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo.

    The reason for the postponement is the absence of petitioner Fyodor Tishin from the SCP meeting. The case will be considered at a future hearing after the petitioner has been summoned and has participated online.

    UPDATE 10.05: Examined in closed session, the complaint on the alleged illegal actions of the former acting Prosecutor General Dumitru Robu – was rejected by the SCP.

    UPDATE 9.52: It has been decided to analyse in closed session the complaint on the alleged illegal actions of the former acting Prosecutor General, Dumitru Robu, on the grounds that it refers to a criminal case where personal data will be presented.

    UPDATE 9.50: The SCP rejected as inadmissible the proposal of Prosecutor Octavian Iachimovschi and the Appeal against the decision of the College for the evaluation of prosecutors’ performance. The SCP upholds the decision of the College for the evaluation of prosecutors’ performance.

    UPDATE 9.22: It was decided to consider in closed session the Appeal against the decision of the Performance Appraisal College for Prosecutors.

    UPDATE 9.20: The proposal to supplement the SCP agenda with the announcement of the Competition for the vacant positions of Chief Prosecutors and Executive Prosecutors was accepted.

    On the supplementary agenda of the SCP meeting is the subject: Approval of the accumulation of the function of prosecutor with teaching activity.
