    Emirati investments in Moldova’s Economy Discussed by Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates in New York

    The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu, had a meeting in New York with the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, during which they discussed the intensification of trade and economic relations, but also attracting Emirati investments in the national economy.

    “I appreciated the recent inclusion of Moldova in the list of states accepted for meat imports to the United Arab Emirates. New opportunities open up for meat producers in Moldova for the diversification of export markets – a strategic objective in the field of economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu after the meeting.

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the organization of economic events within Expo Dubai 2020, which will take place between October 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022. The participation of Moldova in the exhibition is an additional opportunity to promote the country’s image globally.
