    Chișinău Authorities will Send to the Breakaway Transnistrian Region over 5,000 Doses of the Anti-COVID-19 Vaccine

    The authorities in Chișinău will send 5,104 doses of vaccine against COVID-19, 2,004 Pfizer, and 3,100 Johnson, procured by the Moldovan Government, to the health centers in the breakaway Transnistrian region, the Office of Reintegration Policies announces.

    From all the humanitarian assistance lots offered to Moldova, but also from the acquisitions made from budgetary resources, the Chișinău authorities proportionally distributed to the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region approximately 190,000 doses of vaccine against COVID-19.

    The Transnistrian region was also sent multiple humanitarian lots containing personal protective equipment and high-performance medical equipment.

    Also, in the next few days, a new batch of humanitarian aid will be handed over to the inhabitants of the left bank of the Dniester and Bender municipality – 500,000 disposable masks, 240,000 respirators, and 50,000 rapid detection tests of the SARS CoV-2 antigen.

    Chișinău will continue to contribute to the well-being and health protection of the inhabitants of the left bank of the Dniester and Bender municipality through all possible mechanisms, mention the officials from the Office of Reintegration Policies.
