Maia Sandu Meets the Lithuanian Ambassador, Kestutis Kudzmanas
Maia Sandu had a meeting with the Ambassador of Lithuania to Moldova, Kestutis Kudzmanas. They discussed Lithuania’s support for Moldova’s democratization and European integration.
The elected president, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Lithuania in Moldova, Kestutis Kudzmanas. The president-elect officially thanked Lithuania for its support in consolidating democracy and the rule of law in Moldova.
“We discussed the need to intensify cooperation both bilaterally and on the cooperation agenda with the EU. Lithuania has been a constant supporter of Moldova’s European integration efforts. I emphasized that Moldova will need the support of the European partners both to help the citizens recover from the crisis and to build a state with independent institutions, a reformed judiciary and a high standard of living”, said Maia Sandu.
