The woman was also detained for 72 hours and one of the suspects is being investigated at large,” IGP representatives said.

According to the police, the person guilty of such a crime is punishable by imprisonment from 8 to 15 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to exercise a certain activity for up to 5 years.

“In this context, we ask all those who have suffered damage as a result of the illegal analogous activities of the suspects to contact the Police at the telephone number 069670069. At the moment, criminal prosecution actions are taking place in order to establish all the circumstances,” the representatives of the institution added.

At the same time, according to the IGP, the suspect was definitively sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison by the Romanian judicial body, and the Chisinau Court, Ciocana seat, is currently holding court hearings on the recognition and execution of the sentence in question.
