Members of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) have appointed four winners of the competition to replace vacant prosecutor positions in the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organised Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS). One more PCCOCS prosecutor position remained vacant, as the competition was declared “not successful”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nine candidates applied for the five vacant PCCOCS prosecutor positions. At the CSP meeting on 1 November, the candidates presented their motivation letter and answered questions from CSP members. Thus, the members of the Council nominated four winners and propose to the Acting Prosecutor General the appointment of candidates Iurie Iurco, Elena Lisnic, Constantin Popescu and Dorel Zatic to the vacant positions of prosecutor in the PCCOCS”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Superior Council of Prosecutors has decided to appoint the following candidates as winners of the competition for the vacant position of prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases: Iurie Iurco, Elena Lisnic, Constantin Popescu, Dorel Zatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Declared the competition for the position of prosecutor in the PCCOCS unsuccessful. To propose to the Acting Prosecutor General the appointment of candidates Iurie Iurco, Elena Lisnic, Constantin Popescu and Dorel Zatic to the vacant positions of prosecutor in the PCCOCS”, announced the Chairperson of the CSP, Angela Motuzoc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision of the CSP will be forwarded to the interim Prosecutor General to start the procedures for issuing the appropriate administrative acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition for the replacement of five vacant prosecutor positions in the Office of the Prosecutor for Combating Organised Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) was announced in June 2022. Prosecutors applying for appointment as prosecutors in the specialised prosecutor’s office should apply for the competition by 1 August 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
