“Neomatrix” SRL, a company known for its work in the field of computer technology, affiliated to Viorelia Lazar, who until October this year headed the Prime Minister’s Control Corps, delivered and installed photovoltaic panels at the Cricova Wine Combine, a state-owned joint-stock company, this spring. The company is now preparing to participate in tenders organised by state institutions that aim to achieve energy independence, a policy promoted last year by the government itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contract with Cricova Winery was signed without a public notice or tender, because publicly owned companies do NOT contract goods, services or works through the public procurement system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Being in the given position, she knows a lot of people and may or may not talk to different people, but I don’t know if she directly influenced or not,”<\/em> says Mircea Ciobanu, the administrator and current beneficial owner of the company “Neomatrix”, who is also Viorelia Laz\u0103r’s brother. “She did not influence this tender in any way, it was only for economic reasons that this company was selected”<\/em>, says Sorin Maslo, interim director of the Cricova Winery.
