I am not sure \tif it is not just a political statement,&#8221; EU foreign relations \tspokeswoman Christina Gallach said. <\/dt>\n<dt>But the Czech EU presidency publicly rebuked Bucharest after a \tmeeting between Czech EU minister Alexandr Vondra and Romanian \tforeign minister Cristian Diaconescu, in a sign of rising tension \twithin the bloc.<\/dt>\n<dt> &#8220;I told my Romanian colleague about our serious concerns of the \tpossible risks arising from adopting simplified procedures for \tRomanian citizenship,&#8221; Mr Vondra said.<\/dt>\n<dt> Bucharest on Wednesday night put forward a bill to extend the right \tto naturalisation for Moldovans whose grandparent or \tgreat-grandparent was a Romanian.
