By ratifying this protocol, Moldova reaffirms its position on respecting the rights of persons with disabilities in all areas, including social, economic, cultural, health, education, information, and communication.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The draft regulates the competence of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities regarding the procedure for receiving and analyzing communications from or on behalf of persons or groups of persons who claim to be victims of violations of the rights of persons with disabilities by a UN Convention State Party and sets out the clear procedure for examining individual complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ratification of the Optional Protocol does not involve additional costs, respectively no expenditures from the State Budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moldova ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2010.
