This was seen as an interference in the Judiciary. The Minister of Justice declared after the event that the institution must be reset.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The current Minister of Justice, Fadei Nagacevschi, previously the lawyer of the Socialist Party and the advisor of the Socialist President of the Parliament, Zinaida Grecean\u00eei, made a request on Friday, April 9, to the interim president of the Superior Council of Magistracy to speed up the procedure for appointing a judge in the Constitutional Court. Nagacevschi insisted that the Superior Council of Magistracy meet in a special session, no later than April 14, one day before the High Court rules on President Sandu\u2019s request on the dissolution of Parliament. The request of Nagacevschi comes in the context in which one of the candidates registered in the competition to fill the vacant position of judge at the Constitutional Court is his Party colleague, the socialist deputy Vasile Bolea. Nagacevschi&#8217;s request was seen as an interference in the Judiciary and he was excluded from the Superior Council of Magistracy meeting with the vote of the majority of members of the Superior Council of Magistracy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal to exclude the minister from the meeting came from Superior Council of Magistracy member Dorel Mustea\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a matter of principle and it&#8217;s very important. If my colleagues accept Nagacevschi&#8217;s participation, then I do not participate. I consider that this is an interference in the activity of the Superior Council of Magistracy,&#8221; added Mustea\u021b\u0103.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After the resigning Minister of Justice, Fadei Nagacevschi, was expelled from the meeting he stated that &#8220;the reset of the Superior Council of Magistracy is an emergency&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;The participation of the Minister of Justice in the meeting was described by a member of the Superior Council of Magistracy as &#8220;interference in the Judiciary&#8221; and as &#8220;interference in the activity of the Superior Council of Magistracy.&#8221; Today was convinced once again, the reset of the Superior Council of Magistracy is an emergency.
