Today, the Moldovan Parliament declared a state of emergency for 60 days. The draft was voted by the Socialist-Shor Parties and the For Moldova platform. The opposition declared that the state of emergency comes to block the dissolution of Parliament.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Moldovan Parliament declared a state of emergency for 60 days. The draft was voted by 52 deputies of the Socialist-Shor Parties and the For Moldova platform. The opposition deputies criticized the declaration of the state of emergency, noting that this proposal comes to block the dissolution of Parliament. They also submitted 16 amendments to the draft, but none were approved by the Socialist-Shor parliamentary majority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Until now, you didn’t want that, and now that the circumstances of the dissolution of Parliament have intervened, you are holding on to your seats in Parliament. Today you came without any plan, only with a request for a state of emergency to be established in order to avoid early elections”, stated the Action and Solidarity Party deputy, Mihail Pop\u0219oi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Action and Solidarity Party deputies proposed that the state of emergency reduced from 60 days to 14 days, but the amendment was not supported by the Socialist-Shor majority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
