The Court motivates its decision by stating that the Socialist deputies did not present sufficient reasons to suspend the president&#8217;s decree. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Constitutional Court rejected on Friday, March 19, the Socialist Party\u2019s request to suspend president Sandu\u2019s decree on the appointment of Igor Grosu for prime minister position. The Court motivates its decision by stating that the Socialist deputies did not present sufficient reasons to suspend the president&#8217;s decree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Maia Sandu proposed Igor Grosu, the current leader of the Action and the Solidarity Party, for the prime minister position. She made the decision after Mariana Durle\u0219teanu, the candidate of the Shor and the Socialist Party withdraw her candidacy. Today, Maia Sandu had consultations with all the parliamentary factions to find a solution to the current political crises.
