Christos Konstantinouby is a Cypriot founder of offshore companies related to the former leader of the Democratic Party, Vladimir Plahotniuc, and his former party colleague, Vladimir Andronachi.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 20, 2020, the Chi\u0219in\u0103u Court rejected the request filed by Christos Konstantinou&#8217;s lawyers to the Anticorruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office. Konstantinou\u2019s lawyers challenged the order regarding the seizure of his funds. The lawyers also claimed that the seized money was transferred to Christos Konstantinou&#8217;s bank account held at Victoriabank, by the company Introstyle Solutions LTD for consulting services and that a part of the money was there for four years before the 2015 transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chi\u0219in\u0103u Court of Appeal admitted on 12 January 2021, Konstantinou&#8217;s lawyers\u2019 appeal and canceled the decision of the Chi\u0219in\u0103u court regarding the fund&#8217;s seizure and compensation of court costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the documents, Konstantinou used the money received in 2015 for personal and business needs. His company, Introstyle Solutions LTD, is the founder of SRL Radio Media Group that <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/srl.md\/societatea-cu-raspundere-limitata-radio-media-group\" target=\"_blank\">was founded on March 27, 2012, under the director Victoria Buc\u0103taru.<\/a> SRL Radio Media Group and Radio Media Group Inc are companies founded by the former leader of the Democratic Party, fugitive oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc. From 2015, four televisions and three radio stations were broadcast by these companies being hidden, over the years, behind offshore companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name of Christos Konstantinou is found in several ZdG investigations. In September 2017, ZdG published an investigation showing the family ties of former Democratic Party deputy Vladimir Andronachi with Cypriots who founded offshore companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"740\" height=\"455\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/632-nadejda-andronachi-si-rodoula-konstantinou.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"6245\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/632-nadejda-andronachi-si-rodoula-konstantinou.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/en\/?attachment_id=6245\" class=\"wp-image-6245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/632-nadejda-andronachi-si-rodoula-konstantinou.jpg 740w, https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/632-nadejda-andronachi-si-rodoula-konstantinou-360x221.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><figcaption class=\"blocks-gallery-caption\"><em>Vladimir Andronachi and Christos Konstantinou.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Andronachi&#8217;s father-in-law, Fyodor Vasilcov, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/blonschi-anatolie-si-fiodor-vasilicov-socru-vlad-andronachi-1.png\" target=\"_blank\">is the owner of the car trading company Individual Auto SRL.<\/a> The company has its address in Vladimir and Nadejda Andronachi\u2019s building. This building is managed by Anatolie Blonschi that has connections with the Cypriot citizen. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/blonschi-anatolie-administrator-la-3-firme-1.png\" target=\"_blank\">Blonschi administrates three companies<\/a>, among which Metropolitan Construct SRL, a company founded in Chi\u0219in\u0103u by the Cypriots <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/katzianis-condusa-de-cipriotii-lui-andronachi-1.png\" target=\"_blank\">Christos and Rodoula Konstantinouthe through their Cyprus company Katsiaco LTD.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christos and Rodoula Konstantinouthe\u2019s company C. Argyrou &amp; Associates manages another company in Cyprus, Investar Investments Limited, that owns the Business Agreement company in Chi\u0219in\u0103u. The Business Agreement company owns the so-called White House in Chi\u0219in\u0103u, an impressive building attributed to Vladimir Plahotniuc.
