Today was the first meeting of the new council.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>President Maia Sandu amended the regulations of the Supreme Security Council establishing new and exact criteria regarding the persons who can be appointed as members: Moldovan citizenship, knowing the Romanian language, no criminal record, and enjoying an impeccable reputation. The Supreme Security Council includes ex officio, the president of the Parliament, the prime minister, the head of the National Security Commission, head of the Parliament&#8217;s Defense and Public Order, the minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the director of the Intelligence and Security Service, the Prosecutor General and the National Bank governor.
