The Minister of Foreign Affairs Aureliu Ciocoi and the Ambassador of Japan to Moldova, Katayama Yoshihiro, signed the Grant Agreement.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement provides for the allocation of a grant of 100 million Japanese yen (equivalent to 800,000 euros) to purchase consumables, products, services and medical equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The capitalization of the assistance will go through several stages: the creation of the Advisory Board, disbursement of financial means, acquisition, supply, and use, according to the destination, of medical equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, the Tokyo Government granted Moldova a quantity of 12,200 Avigan antiviral pills (Favipiravir), necessary for the treatment of 100 patients infected with COVID-19.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The agreement provides for the allocation of a grant of 100 million Japanese yen (equivalent to 800,000 euros) to purchase consumables, products, services and medical equipment.
