The new acquisitions aim to reduce the response time to emergency calls and improve police officers\u2019 working conditions involved in such missions. In this way, we aim to be more visible, proactive, and oriented towards the citizens\u2019 needs,&#8221; mentions the head of General Police Inspectorate, Sergiu Paiu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The total value of the acquisition is around EUR1,030,400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the EU support, special vehicles have been purchased for the detainees\u2019 transportation, for crime investigation services, for sector officers, mobile forensic self-laboratories for crime scene investigation, and computer technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The vehicles\u2019 purchase comes from the Budget Support for Police Reform Program, implemented within the Financial Agreement between the European Union and Moldova and the Police Development Strategy for 2016-2020.
