The Commission claims that 34 political parties met the deadline for submission of reports, three political parties submitted the report over the deadline, and another 11 did not honor their legal obligation to submit reports to the Commission.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a press release, the Central Electoral Commission stated that several parties did not submit the financial management report of the party at all or submitted it after the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Electoral Commission, the Professional Movement Hope &#8211; Nadezhda Party, the Social Democratic Party, the Political Party NEW HISTORICAL OPTION, the Political Party NEW, the Political Party Centrist Union of Moldova, the Party United Moldova &#8211; Edinova Moldova, the Party of Regions of Moldova, the Political Party RENAISSANCE Party, the Political Party Progressive Society Party, and the Political Party National Unity Party did not submit their financial management reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the provisions of the Contravention Code, the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission will summon the persons in charge within the political parties, who did not submit the reports for the first semester of 2020, and will draw up the minutes of the contravention.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Electoral Commission took note of the reports on the financial management of political parties for the first half of 2020.
