President Igor Dodon, congratulated his Belarusian counterpart, Alexandr Lukashenko after the President-in-Office won the elections held on August 9 in Belarus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 10, Dodon congratulated Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential election in Belarus through a message posted on Facebook<\/a>. Dodon expressed his appreciation for the productive dialogue and close cooperation between Moldova and Belarus in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I send my sincere congratulations to my Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, on the occasion of the victory in the presidential elections!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the Moldovan people and my staff, I wish him remarkable success in achieving the goals proposed for the benefit of Belarus.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am convinced that the productive dialogue and the close cooperation between Moldova and Belarus in various fields, will contribute to the consolidation of the relations between our countries and peoples<\/em>,\u201d Dodon wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incumbent Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko won the presidential elections from August 9 with 80.23 percent of the vote. The Central Electoral Commission offered the information on August 10, citing the preliminary results of a tense election marked by violence and allegations of electoral fraud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
