Cerni\u021bu also didn\u2019t mention a real estate that he owned and had the right to use during 2017-2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asked for his point of view on these discrepancies, the ex-prosecutor presented contradictory explanations, without any conclusive evidence, for which the inspector notified the prosecution. The inspector mentioned that there <strong><em>are suspicions of the intentional commission of a crime, provided by art.3521, paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The finding act issued by the National Integrity Authority was challenged in the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, after two years working within the Soroca Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, Cerni\u021bu changed to the Anticorruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office. In the same year, Cerni\u021bu was detained by the National Anticorruption Center on suspicion of corruption and bribery.
