Its objectives are to prevent, detect, and respond to the threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first part of the project, worth \u20ac52.3 million, is to provide immediate support to prevent the onset of COVID-19 or to limit local transmission by implementing quarantine strategies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Included measures are to improve case confirmation, strengthen the health system to ensure the care of patients with COVID-19 in the critical phase and minimize the risk of infecting patients and healthcare workers, provide social and financial support to households, raise awareness among decision-makers and the public, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second part includes the management, monitoring, and evaluation of the implementation, amounting to \u20ac0.6 million, which consists of carrying out the project management activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will be implemented for two years, until April 30, 2022. It contains standard conditions provided for the credits offered by the International Development Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The texts from the page www.zdg.md are taken over within the maximum limit of <strong>1,000 <\/strong>characters.
