In August 2019, new judges were elected to the Constitutional Court. Although they didn’t have noticeable acquisitions in the last year, they earned financial resources from teaching, business or scientific activities. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While analyzing the judges’ declarations of assets ZdG concluded that the head of the Constitutional Court, Vladimir \u021aurcan and Eduard Ababii are the richest judges at the Constitutional Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Constitutional Court Has a 104,000 Euros House, Two Apartments and a Lexus <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Constitutional Court, Vladimir \u021aurcan received around 10,000 euros from the Constitutional Court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, \u021aurcan’s family received money from other sources as well. In 2019, \u021aurcan received a compensation of around 2,000 euros and over 6,000 euros from the Parliament, where he was a deputy from the parliamentarian faction of the Socialist Party, until August 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also received a pension of over 6,000 euros from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u021aurcan owns two lands acquired in 2001, and worth over 38,000 euros. He received over 36,000 euros after selling a 103 square meters apartment in Chi\u0219in\u0103u<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u021aurcan family owns two apartments and a dwelling house of 363.9 square meters, which is worth around 104,000 euros. He drives a luxurious Lexus RX-200T manufactured in 2015 and bought in 2016. The car\u2019s value is 10,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liuba \u0218ova, Owner of Two Apartments Worth Around 26,000 Euros<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the declaration of assets, Liuba \u0218ova, one of the judges from the Constitutional Court <\/strong>received from the court a salary of around 6,000 euros. She also obtained around 2,000 euros from leasing. She also received 4,000 euros, salary from WORKforce Leasing S&R GmbH, Erfurter, Gotha, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, Liuba \u0218ova owns two apartments: one – since 2011, with an area of \u200b\u200b49.2 square meters and another – since 1999, with an area of \u200b\u200b50.9 square meters, worth around 26,000 euros. \u0218ova also owns shares in the TIR EX-PETROL company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicolae Ro\u0219ca Received Higher Income from Teaching<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the declaration of assets and personal interests, Nicolae Ro\u0219ca <\/strong>earned more money from Moldova State University than from the Constitutional Court. He had a salary of around 8,000 euros from teaching at the university, and over 7,000 euros from the Constitutional Court.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His wife, Alla Ro\u0219ca, a teacher at a high school in Chi\u0219in\u0103u, earned a salary of over 4,500 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ro\u0219ca family owns two apartments, worth over 24,000 euros and a Toyota Corolla manufactured in 2010 and bought in the same year. In the bank accounts, the Ro\u0219ca spouses had around 13,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domnica Manole Make no Acquisitions in 2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Domnica Manole <\/strong>was appointed as a judge at the Constitutional Court, in August 2019. According to her declaration of assets, Manole made no purchases since her appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, the judge received an annual salary of over 7,000 euros, and a pension of over 13,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manole owns an apartment acquired in 2010, which costs around 49,000 euros, a garage and another real estate asset worth about 7,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2018, Domnica Manole also owns a Nissan Murano car manufactured in 2017, which costs 14,100 euros. And since 2011, she also owns a Dacia-Logan worth around 2,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eduard Ababei Has a House Worth Hundreds of Euros<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eduard Ababei, judge at the Constitutional Court received, in 2019, around 26,000 euros working as a lawyer. His wife earned around 130,000 euros also working as a lawyer. The family has its own law firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ababei received from the Constitutional Court a salary of over 6,000 euros and around 400 euros from Moldova State University, where he was teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ababei signed two sales-purchase contracts, the value of which exceeds 51,000 euros. He also sold a Renault Koleo car mentioning that it is worth over 5,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ababei family owns a lot of agricultural land. In 2019, Ababei bought over two hundred agricultural lands. Also in 2019, the Ababei family became the owners of 152.4 square meters dwelling house, worth around 104,000 euros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ababei also owns a commercial space, an apartment and another dwelling house of 120 square meters, obtained in 2016 and worth over 20,000 euros. In 2017, the Ababei family bought a new Volvo brand car for 45,300 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serghei \u021aurcanu<\/strong> had last year an income of over 6,000 euros from the Constitutional Court<\/a>, and from the Superior Council of Magistracy around 5,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u021aurcanu mentioned in his declaration of assets that he obtained over 5,000 euros from teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1995, he owns an apartment of 54 square meters, worth around 15,000 euros and a garage purchased in 2007. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, \u021aurcanu bought a Toyota Prius for which he paid around 4,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
