The National Integrity Authority announced in a press release that it was notified about an investigation published by ZdG about Tatatiana Avasiloaie, a judge which can be seen daily while entering a penthouse more than 150 square meters, located in a block in the center of the capital<\/strong>, but which is not found in her declaration of assets and interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In one of its investigations, ZdG wrote about a judge from the Chi\u0219in\u0103u Court, R\u00e2\u0219cani district, who is daily leaving or entering a residential building located in the heart of the capital, on Bernardazzi Street. Despite daily entering and leaving the building the judge Tatiana Avasiloaie doesn\u2019t have the building in her declarations of assets and claims that she is leaving with her parents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although, ZdG spotted the judge’s car parked in front of that block in the morning, the judge denied that she would live in it. When ZdG asked why she is going there so often she answered that she goes there to check the water and the heating system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The block was put into operation in 2015. Back then a square meter cost about 800 euros, now it is no less than 1,100 euros according to information placed on the building company\u2019s site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several days after ZdG published the investigation the National Integrity Authority, which is responsible for verifying the authenticity of public servants\u2019 declarations of assets and interests responded. The agency announced that the judges assets and her declaration of assets and personal interests will be reassessed and after that, a decision will be issued in this sense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016 ZdG wrote about a luxurious house of another judge, Oleg Sternioal\u0103. In November 2019 the authorities responded to ZdG\u2019s investigation and opening a criminal case in Sternioal\u0103\u2019s name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
