Moldova\u2019s Prime Minister assures the citizens that a tool for monitoring the high-level corruption cases would appear on the government\u2019s website until January 15. The tool will provide information about the status of each high-level corruption case and by whom it is handled. A tool to monitor the Government\u2019s Action Plan will also appear on the government\u2019s website.     <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 3, the head of the Executive, Ion Chicu mentioned that some high-level corruption cases have no end, addressing a request to the Secretary General of the Government, to the councillor Nicolae E\u015fanu and to the officials of the State Chancellery, in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In the last year, I\u2019ve seen a lot of blatant detentions of state officials, but about the purpose of these cases of resonance is not much known. I doubt that at least 10 percent of these cases publicized with different shows have full purpose. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also dozens of files open artificially to squeeze money or to deprive businessmen. Respectively, until January 15, this interactive monitoring tool will be placed on the Government’s website, specifying the status of each case up-to-date: where it is, who is examining it, whether or not it has arrived in court,\u201d <\/em>specified Chicu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, until January 15, a tool to monitor the implementation of the Government Action Plan would be put in place, so that citizens can see in real-time what the Government and institutions are dealing with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016, the then Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, declared that in a public place in the center of the capital a panel will be placed indicating the amount recovered from the stolen billion. Later, he said it was a figurative expression and a panel is not required, as the information will be published on the website of the National Bank of Moldova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
