For 12 years I have not heard from her, says Dumitru, who does not even know what his mother looked like in the past. \u201cNo photo was kept. He leaves early in the morning, returns late in the evening,&#8221; explains psychologist.\u00a0Although calmer than Dumitru, when he explodes, Alexander can not control his aggression.\u00abAccumulates a lot and externalizes everything in five minutes,&#8221; says Marin Tataru.\u00a0The youngsters, although having behavioral problems can be helped.\u00a0They have not yet reached the age of criminal responsibility and social workers and psychologists now do everything possible not to follow the path of other minors who, once they reach the age of criminal responsibility (14 years), go to prisons.<\/p>\n<h3>Environment influences child behavior<\/h3>\n<p>However, minors under the age of criminal responsibility are aware that they can commit any crime and will not get punished, and when they reach the age of 14, suddenly find themselves behind bars.\u00a0One solution would be &#8220;an obligation to participate in psychosocial program&#8221;, says Marin Tataru.\u00a0Although multidisciplinary team goes to various localities to identify the problem underlying the inappropriate behavior and trying to find solutions, the problem is not removed, because the child needs sustainable help.\u00a0&#8220;He opens.\u00a0Tells about his problems.\u00a0Says things that maybe he never said before.\u00a0But it is momentary.\u00a0We go out and it all ends.\u00a0Therefore, we must work not only with children, but especially with teachers and parents, who are always together&#8221;, explains psychologist.<\/p>\n<p>The same opinion has also Frauke de Kort, Chief Child Protection Program, UNICEF Moldova. &#8220;State services should focus more on the causes of child antisocial behavior and his entourage.
