The National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANI) has initiated a control of the assets and personal interests of the judge of the Chisinau Court of Appeals, Roman Pascari.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an initiating act issued on Thursday, July 13, ANI registered a complaint against the magistrate in June regarding compliance with the legal regime for declaring assets and personal interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the complaint, “it is requested to initiate the control of wealth and personal interests in respect of Roman Pascari, a judge in the Chisinau Court, because he and his wife have obtained assets in the form of real estate in mun. Chisinau, the value of which allegedly exceeds the declared income”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, at the preliminary verification stage, the integrity inspector analysed the declarations of assets and personal interests of the subject of the declaration, Roman Pascari, generated by the state information system e-Integritate, and it was established that Roman Pascari had acquired real estate and movable assets that were reported by the complainant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roman Pascari became a magistrate at the Buiucani seat of the Chisinau Court in August 2015, having been appointed for a five-year term, until then practicing as a lawyer. Since 1 January 2019, he has been appointed as a judge specialized in civil law at the Chisinau Court of Appeals, Centru seat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
