The first stage consists of an eliminatory psychological test. The second stage of the written test consists of drawing up two procedural documents based on specific cases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>oral test:<\/strong> in criminal law and criminal procedure law (including aspects of criminal law), civil law and civil procedure law, administrative law, human rights &#8211; for candidates for the position of judge; in criminal law and criminal procedure law (including aspects of criminal law), human rights &#8211; for candidates for the position of prosecutor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Approval of the final results of the examination for persons applying for the position of judge or prosecutor on the basis of seniority (written and oral examination) is made after examination of all appeals, according to the Regulation of the National Institute of Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ruslan Popov is being investigated in a criminal case for illicit enrichment. The former prosecutor is also charged with eight counts of false declaration of assets and personal interests. Popov was suspended from his post while the investigation was ongoing and was dismissed from the system in March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The criminal case on illicit enrichment is being examined by the Chisinau Court of Appeals.
